“The Phenomenological Mind” Winter School will take place January 26,27,28,2010 in Milan.The event is organized by The Phenomenology and Sciences of the Person Laboratory, the Faculty of Philosophy at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele of Milan, and the Department of Philosophy at the University of Studies of Milan.

Fifteen students selected among PhD candidates, PhD and young researchers will have the opportunity of leading the discussion on the main topics of Shaun Gallagher and Dan Zahavi’s book, The Phenomenological Mind. An Introduction to Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science (Routledge, 2007), giving short presentations (max 20 mins) in one of the following sections:

1) Action and Agency,
2) Social Cognition e Consciousness,
3) Person and Pathologies.

LA MENTE FENOMENOLOGICA, MILANO 26-28.01.2010

Il Laboratorio di Fenomenologia e Scienze della Persona, la Facoltà di filosofia dell’Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele di Milano e il Dipartimento di Filosofia dell’Università degli Studi di Milano, organizzano nei giorni 26, 27 e 28 gennaio 2010 un seminario internazionale (Winter School) rivolto a dottorandi, dottori di ricerca e giovani ricercatori.

Quindici partecipanti avranno l’opportunità di guidare la discussione che verterà sui contenuti del libro di Shaun Gallagher e Dan Zahavi La mente fenomenologica. Filosofia della mente e scienze cognitive (Raffaello Cortina Editore – 2009) attraverso una breve relazione (max. 20 mins) all’interno di tre laboratori dedicati ai seguenti temi:

1) Action and Agency,
2) Social Cognition e Consciousness,
3) Person and Pathologies.
