Hosted by the prestigious frame of the 111 Annual Meeting of the American Philosophical Association, the 2014 Meeting of the Max Scheler Society of North America (February 26-28) has taken place in the splendour of Palmer House Hilton Hotel at Chicago. While inviting all speakers and commentators (see the Program here below) to make their texts available on a larger scale by pre-publishing them on our Lab, on behalf of our community and the Research Centre PERSONA, I would like to express our deep gratitude to Zachary Davis (St. John’s University, President of the Max Scheler Society of North America) for his efficient and generous organizing work.

Quite special, heartfelt thanks are also due to Karin Frings, who is currently completing the preparation of the Manfred Frings’ Archive for its transfer to the Southern Illinois University (some of us are with her in the picture taken during the reception she offered on Thursday evening). I hope she will not dislike my sharing the beautiful meditation by Manfred S. Frings (1974) (scarica il pdf qui), which she offered us copies of, with the Phenomenologylab Community.

Thanks to everybody – and see you next time in Europe!
